Tutorial
1st - Search for a good picture.
I usually use these websites:
Google Images
Getty Images
ViewImages
PicSearch
Simple Image Search
Ex: Cristiano Ronaldo, in ViewImages
Choose one of them.
2nd - Open Photoshop and drag the picture into the program.
Normally, it stays at 66.7%
Pick the "magnifying glass" tool and change it to 100%, clicking on Actual Pixels.
3th - Let's work on the picture. I advice you to let Photoshop do the hard work, by choosing Image - Adjustements - Auto Levels / Auto Contrast / Auto Color
4th - Resize the picture into an acceptable size:
Like this size...
...into this size
5th - Then, create a new layer with 140 pxls by 180 pxl size.
Drag the modified picture into the new layer.
Move the picture until it is in a perfect position, like this:
6th - Create a 1pxl stroke
Double click on "Background" and then "Ok"
Then, click on the little "f" under -> stroke, and then change to pixel=1;position= inside; cor=preto
And then, you have the final picture, perfect for na 140*180 facepack
.
Save it...
Save your picture with the name you want, without accents, in C:\Documents and Settings\Users\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\facepacks
7th - To create the config.xml file, use http://www.4shared.com/file/32881771/117c8aa2/FmXML_03.html]FMXML
Now, you can start working here, at the project
